- Check the preview. See on screen whether the table came out right.
- Click "Download Excel file". The .xlsx file is saved to your Downloads folder.

What we paid attention to
- Merged cells are kept as merged cells. A heading that spans several columns in the PDF is written as a merged cell in Excel.
- Numbers arrive as numbers you can calculate with. Thousands separators (1,200), negatives in parentheses ((300)), percentages (12.5%), currency marks and common date formats are converted into real numbers and dates, so you can sum a column right away.
- Choose how multi-page tables are handled. One sheet per page, or everything combined into one sheet. When combining, header rows repeated on every page and page numbers are dropped.
- Convert several PDFs at once. Get one Excel file per PDF in a single ZIP, or one Excel file with a sheet for each PDF.
- Choose the formatting. "Keep original formatting" keeps column widths, fonts, colors and borders; "Values only" writes plain values.
- Built with older Excel in mind. Files are saved in the standard .xlsx format used since Excel 2007, with values only — no formulas and no functions that only newer versions understand.
- Password-protected PDFs: if you know the password used to open the file, you can enter it and convert.
PDFs we can't convert
- Scanned (image) PDFs: pages that were scanned or photographed store the text as a picture, so there is no text to read. → How to tell a scanned PDF from a text PDF
- PDFs with broken text information: the program that created the PDF didn't store the text properly. Try saving the PDF again from the original file.
- Tables without clear column boundaries: columns may shift. Please check the preview before downloading.
Results are produced automatically. Please compare important amounts and dates with the original PDF. → How to check a converted table
